You know, how to find the right business partner is so important!

Today I received a barrage of complaints from my customer again.

Well, it is not about me this time. It is about a salesman David.

Two months ago, he placed one machine order with David’s company. But His journey of purchasing seemed not to be a smooth ride, and haplessly he bumped all the way, till now.

It all started on the day when David had promised a finished machine for inspection but by the time my customer flew 10 hours to their site, what embraced him was nothing but an unconnected line waiting for final assembling

Due to this, he had to make an unwanted change of schedule for a longer stay. (Itinerary Disrupted)

Then the machine under David’s COMMON PRACTICE dispatched in packages with-out undergoing fumigation required by customs, was caught & requested for a cargo return and heavy fines.

This is when I started to question if this company is up to professional standards. Well, it should have been a relief after the custom issue solved, but this was not end of story.

What upset my customer most was the pricey communication cost with David When asked for operation guidance, he had no ideas of converting elusive wordings into visualized videos or illustrative images for clearer instruction.

A sale is not expected to be just a message delivery man, unfortunately David is, and he is terrible at it.

The truth is, buyers are seeing their suppliers as not simply vendors, but as a key asset in realizing their business strategy. And it makes real sense only when the right person is involved.
